August 2007
Hi Everyone!
I hope that you all are doing your best to stay cool (except for all you southern hemisphere people, who should try to stay warm).
Things are going well here. I've added a new section of resources for mothers to the site. I've been wanting to do that for a long time (since I get so many emails from mothers) and I'm happy that it's finally up. Feel free to pass this on to any of your students' mothers.
Since this new section is for mothers, I'd really like to put it into different languages so that mothers who are not so good at English can find it and learn how they can help their children to learn English at home. My husband is going to translate it into Japanese. If any of you out there are fluent in other languages and want to help out, please let me know!
I'm also pleased to announce my first guest writer! Alex Case has written a lovely article about teaching your students to answer personal questions.
If you are interested in writing a guest article, please let me know.
Also, if you like my site (and I assume that you do because you are on the mailing list...), I have written a page about ways in which you can support the Teach ESL to Kids site. Don't worry, I'm not begging for money.
Thank you so much for all of your time! Hope you are well.
Love,
