ESL Game
The Freeze Game
This is a regular kids' game that I have turned into an ESL game. The kids really like it and it can be played for any amount of time, so it's great to use when you have extra time that you need to fill up.

THE FREEZE GAME
Target English: Conversation skills.
Things You Need: CD player and music
Age: any
English Level: any
1. Play your music and have the kids dance in the center of the room.
2. Stop the music. All of the kids must freeze in whatever position they are in.
3. If you catch someone moving, that student must ask another student (their choice) a question. Teacher can kind of "cheat" a little here to make sure that all of the kids get a turn to ask/answer a question.
4. Repeat until time is up!
