Hands and Feet Craft
This hands and feet craft originated one day when we were painting. I turned around for a few seconds and every one of the students had painted their hands instead of the paper. Cuties! I ran out to get a large piece of paper (the kind that comes on a roll. I think it might be called "butcher paper".). I put it on the floor and let the kids put their hand prints all over it. They loved it! It seems "naughty" and they were so excited that I was letting them do it instead of scolding them. Then, another day we did our feet. Very messy and great fun...
Materials Needed:
- very large piece of paper
- paint
- water and towels for immediate clean up
- tape
Preparation
No preparation beforehand needed.
In Class
- Tape the large piece of paper to the floor.
- Paint the child's hand (or foot) and let them make their prints on the paper.
- Immediately clean the paint off, as this can get very messy.
This is so fun for the kids and I hope that they really enjoy doing it.
Love,
Shannon Sensei
